Looking at all the window treatment options out there, I knew I wanted to go with blackout roman shades. Roman shades are neat and definitely would help with the light.

A simple boxed casing around the windows would help provide us with a much needed dark room at night while hiding those functional operating handles that always stuck out and fell off.
